Admission Requirement

The Programme is open to students with a first or second class Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering (electronic, electrical, mechanical, energy, power, environmental or systems engineering) or physical sciences subject (mathematics, physics, computer science), from a recognised academic institution. Other academic subjects may be considered on a case-by-case basis. The number of student intake is around 30 in each academic year under the Programme.
 

The applications of prospective students for the Programme shall be reviewed by Strathclyde, HKUST and CLP Power. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed before being selected and recruited jointly by HKUST and Strathclyde, and shall meet the admission requirements of both universities.
